Meghan McCann
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Meghan Adele McCann, RN, MSN, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over a decade of clinical experience spanning psychiatry, aesthetic medicine, and acute care. She brings a deep commitment to integrative, evidence-based mental health care that honors the whole person.
Meghan holds a Master of Science in Nursing from UCLA and a post-master’s PMHNP certification from Purdue University. She is currently advancing her specialization through an Integrative Psychiatry Fellowship.
Having founded Luma Health and Wellness in Solana Beach, Meghan combined her expertise in trauma-informed care, somatic healing, and psychiatric nursing to create a sanctuary-style clinic model that blends clinical excellence with spiritual depth. She has also served in leadership roles within outpatient psychiatric settings, where she oversaw clinical operations and supported patients through complex mental health challenges.
Meghan believes that individuals facing mental health conditions deserve the same urgency, respect, and standard of care afforded to other serious medical diagnoses. Her approach is rooted in whole-person healing—supporting the mind, body, and nervous system in unison.
In addition to her work at The Health and Wellness Collective, Meghan maintains a private practice where she offers medication management, psychotherapy, and integrative treatment options tailored to each client’s unique needs.
